Oh no, this cannot be good at all. Mom made a comment to me on the phone on how C is becoming more and more like me every single day. So I sat down and made a lists of things that we have in common…
- Strong willed – That child, if she wants something she will go for it. Don’t let anything stop her either. I guess that kind of sounds like me?
- Independent - Trust me, she’s like Miss Independent. She won’t even let me help her walk, she looks at me with this look and just says “NO!”. So I guess I’m a little independent too.
- Helpful – She loves to help, not that she can much. But she does what she can. I think A was in the high chair one day for some reason and she had dropped something to C went to get it for her, she couldn’t exactly give it to her.. but she tried. Okay, so I help people for a living…
- Smiley – The kid always smiles, even when she cries. I suppose I’m a pretty happy person.
And that’s where I stopped. Maybe me and C are a lot alike? It’s cute. Maybe when she grows up we can all be best friends and we’ll go shopping and get a montage done, just like in the movies. Or she’ll rebel like I did and we’ll have a horrible relationship for a few years, but she’ll get over it and we’ll be best friends again. Or I could get a time stopping machine and just never let her grow up, because she’s too grown up already. My baby girl is going to be 10 months in 2 days! A is going to be 2 and a half in 2 days too. Ugh, stop growing babies.
