So I was writing a postcard to a friend yesterday, cause it’s fun to write things to people
. Plus, I have these postcards I’ve never used but have had for like a few years, with postage paid, so I figure this was a good time to use it. So, if anyone else wants a post card.. LOL But anyways, back to what I learned. I was googling ‘What to write on a postcard’ and it said ‘Random facts, jokes, etc…’, so went for the ‘random facts’ one because who doesn’t love random facts? So what did me and the friend not have in common? Well that one was easy, so I was googling ‘random facts about Canada’ and this is what I discovered.
- Americans get mail on Saturdays. Crazy, I’ve never even heard of that!
- Americans don’t have ketchup-flavored chips. WHAT?! This one was a shocker, I mean not that Ketchup chips are THAT good, but still, to not have ever tasted them. That’s ridiculous!
- Canada has more cars than anywhere else in the world. Apparently, we have a 1 car for every 2 people ratio.
- The population of Canada only lives in about 2% of Canada’s land. I guess that’s what happens when you’re the second biggest country with a population 10 times smaller then the US.
There were more, but I included them in the post card, and I want them to be a surprise for that friend.
LOL! Keep in mind that I’m picky and it may be that I just never noticed any ketchup flavored chips out there. But, my kids would LOVE them. They’re ketchupaholics.
